Runners will be able to choose between a 5k and 10k course at an upcoming event that will raise funds for breast cancer.
The Run Media City event will feature a flat and fast course comprising of a series of laps around a 2.5km loop and will take place on Thursday, July 25 between 7pm and 8.30pm.
The loop runs over the canal and will direct participants past the Imperial War Museum, along with the ITV and BBC television studios in Manchester.
There will be two laps for the 5k event and four laps for the 10k.
The course follows the paths and pavements inside the centre of Media City.
Organisers said that this is not a closed road race and the event has been around for approximately six years at various times throughout the year.
