Manchester Storm launches “Lest we forget” jerseys

The rich tradition of the Manchester Storm in commemorating the sacrifices of servicemen in the military continues, with the introduction of this year’s newly released camouflage theme jersey, writes James Gabriel DeCastro.

Last Friday, November 7, through their Instagram page, the Manchester Storm announced the release of this year’s remembrance jersey. It was then available for fans to enjoy through their website.

The team also wore the 2025 remembrance jersey in their home game last Saturday, November 8, against the visiting Coventry Blaze.

It features a bold desert camouflage backdrop paired with the shades of brown and beige. Giving it a rugged look and a design that follows the pattern of the military. At the center of it all is the team’s logo in black, white, and silver colors. Around it are various team sponsor logos, such as Everrit Construction, CASTUK, and Seashell, among others. All of which were rendered white.

But the most important detail in this jersey is the red remembrance poppy, which was placed above the Everrit logo. The red poppy symbolizes the countless sacrifices of the servicemen in the Great War and the conflicts that followed.

The 2025 remembrance jersey is available through the Manchester Storm’s website. It is priced at £60 for the 2XS size. It is priced at £70 for sizes 1XS to 4XL.
