The Manchester 24 Hour Run Against Homelessness has been announced as back again this year, and with the 2025 event fast coming up, a new host venue has been unveiled.

The next event will be hosted in arguably the biggest host venue yet, as organisers look to set up camp in a brand new food and drink hall.

Having housed the event HQ from Freight Island last year, a new venue was sought for the 2025 run.

This year’s annual relay run in aid of Greater Manchester’s homeless community will be taking place at none other than the city centre’s recently revealed House of Social. The building’s student living quarters serves as the initiatives first thought up by university friends back in 2018.

Announced on social media, House of Social will now team up with the wider First Street neighbourhood to support the hordes of runners expected this year.

Last year, not only did this fundraising effort mark its first-ever expansion with an inaugural event in Birmingham, but it also made more than £50,000 in Manchester alone and is now set to make debuts in a series of new cities.
