Mid-week non-league action across Greater Manchester did not disappoint as several fixtures took place with mixed results for regional teams. Manc Sport took a look at what went on.

NWCFL Premier
Tuesday night saw Ramsbottom United get up 2-0 over Burscough. Second-half goals from Luke Sephton and Matt Dudley swung the tight affair in favour of the home side to send the Rams back up to second place in the Premier Division table.
Irlam lost 4-2 in a tough game against West Didsbury and Chorlton after both sides were tied up 1-1 at half-time. After the break, fans were treated to another four goals before the ref’s final whistle blew.
Prestwich Heys celebrated their third straight victory after defeating Glossop North End 2-1 in front of 216 spectators. Connor Martin scored for Heys in the 16th minute, before a goal one minute before the break saw Ethan Suthcliffe respond for the opposition. The break saw both teams sitting at 1-1, before the visitors’ Bryson Appleton scored the winner in the 49th minute.
Heys’ encouraging performance pushed them up the league table to 15th with ten league games now completed.
A late goal for Wythenshawe FC saw them secure their league win on Tuesday night against FC St Helens on the road. Fans had to wait late into the game for goal action which was eventually provided by former Bury man Bryan Ly for the Ammies in the 79th minute. The match ended 1-0.
A disappointing first-half in the NPL Division One West saw Mossley AFC trailing 1-0 at the break against Wythenshawe Town. Dan Dolling hit one off a corner in the 17th minute to put the hosts up at Ericstan Park.
The second-half was an exciting period for fans who witnessed three goals. Mossley clawed one back to draw in the 66th minute thanks to a goal from Jack Marrow.

Demi Rhami put the hosts back in front in 90+2 thanks to a penalty. Against the odds and down to nine men, the visitors again tied up the game in 90+5 courtesy of another Marrow goal. Final score 2-2.
