PFL Europe champion Lewis McGrillen-Evans is slated to face Alan Philpott in the co-main event at PFL Europe 1 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
McGrillen caught the eye of the combat sports faithful when he emerged victorious in an electric bout against Dean Garnett last year.
The 24-year-old took his supporters on a roller coaster of emotions before emerging victorious.
More recently, McGrillen-Evans knocked out Alexander Luster in Décines-Charpieu, France, in December.
“Well, we’re getting nice little showcase bouts now. Building momentum, building the name up and stuff like that. We’re going to headline nice events all around Europe, and possibly the world.
“Then I wanna go into the global tournament next year.”
McGrillen also revealed that he hopes to attain three fights under his belt this year, stating:
“I hope so. I hope so. I’ve put that in my contract, and I’m having my management talk about that, saying I want fights. That’s the only reason I got into the tournament. I need fights. It keeps me disciplined, it keeps me sharp-minded, so if I can push myself out, that’s what I’ll do. So I want three fights this year.”
