Bury FC will be travelling to Seel Park to face Mossley AFC on Tuesday night, October 21. Writes Rizki Ramadhan Putra.
After Saturday’s defeat 2-0 against Sporting Khalsa, Bury seeks what promises to be a key fixture. After a superb run of form that saw the Shakers win six consecutive league matches, manager Dave McNabb will be looking for a quick response from his side.
Despite controlling large parts of the game in Willenhall, Bury couldn’t find a breakthrough and were punished late on by a resilient Sporting Khalsa. The results saw the Shakers slip to second in the table, three points behind new leader Lower Brek, and just one point ahead of a tightly packed chasing group of five clubs. With the promotion race heating up, this clash offers the perfect opportunity to reset and rediscover that winning rhythm. McNabb’s men have shown plenty of attacking flair in recent weeks, and while Saturday’s scoreline didn’t reflect their dominance.

The opponent, Mossley AFC, comes into this game on the back of two goalless draws: away at Chasetown and at home against Runcorn Linnets. The results have lifted them to 17th in the table with 12 points from 13 games. Founded in 1903, Mossley boasts a proud non-league heritage, with Seel Park serving as their home since 1911. The ground has seen continuous improvement over the years, including new floodlights installed in 2022.
