Manchester City Women produce the goods against Arsenal

It was a spectacular match between Manchester City women’s team and Arsenal, written by Davin Reinhart

It was the fifth match in the Women’s Super League. As the Blues tried to keep their winning streak, Arsenal tried to climb to the top of the table and in a close fought result, The Lady Citizens secured a 3-2 victory.

STARTING LINE UP

The Manchester City women’s team starting are:

Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scored the first goal, and City took the lead.

Not long after the first goal, Arsenal equalized the score made by its midfielder Mariona Caldentey at 1-1.

In minute 61, Kerstin Casparij scored another goal, making City take the lead for a while at 2-1.

20 minutes after the third goal, Arsenal won’t back down by scoring another goal made by Chloe Kelly, making the score 2-2.

At the final minute of the match, Iman Beney scored for the Manchester City women’s team and went back to take the lead.

The final whistle blew, and the Blues once again secured another win for the day.
