‘Outstanding’ victory for club as applications for their manager position close

After Nick Spooner departed The Tigers, applicants had up until noon yesterday to apply for the job, as reported earlier here at Manc Sport.

The Tigers concentrated on the task at hand on Tuesday night and focused on securing a victory in the journey to Rushall Olympic for their NPL Premier clash.

Hyde managed to secure the three points on the table with a 2-0 victory, both goals coming courtesy of forward Jack Redshaw. Redshaw put both balls into the net not long after the restart with goals scored in the 48th and 51st minutes to put the game away.

Interim manager Martin Coyne said: “We were outstanding”, about the victory.
