Leadership is an important aspect of a team finding success and a Manchester franchise has unveiled who will be steering their side this year in a recent post on their website.
Elite Ice Hockey League side Manchester Storm revealed who their captaincy group will be for the upcoming season.
The club’s website said: “Manchester Storm are delighted to announce that #6 Chase Harrison will serve as the organisation’s 7th Captain in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) era. He’ll be supported by three Alternates: #12 Stephen Johnson, #14 Loren Ulett, and #77 Nick Welsh, each bringing their own strength and leadership to the locker room.”

Head Coach Cam Critchlow said: “Chase has been a big piece of this club for a number of years and he’s shown his commitment to his teammates, the fans and the city of Manchester.
“He is a player that demonstrates leadership with his on ice play and has earned the respect of his team mates. We have a very strong supporting cast of assistant captains in Stephen, Loren and Nick who are all proven players and more importantly character people.
“There are numerous players in our locker room who stand out in leadership roles in our locker room and we know they will do an incredible job representing the club.”
