He started his coaching career in the far east, coaching in China and Thailand, before Broxsie returned to the US to take up a coaching role in the NBA summer league for Memphis Grizzlies. He remained there as a player development coach alongside assisting at the NBA G-League Memphis Hustle. Broxsie would join the Houston Rockets in 2019, joining the staff at Rio Grande Valley Vipers as a Player Development Coach.
According to the Manchester Basketball site, Bloxsie spent three seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Summer League team before taking charge of Brampton Honey Badgers in the CEBL in Canada in 2022, where he would coach Manchester sharp-shooter Cody John. In 2023, he was hired by Cleveland Cavaliers as a Player Development Coach alongside assisting Cleveland Charge in the NBA G-League last season.
Antoine’s playing career began at the University of Minnesota in the Big 10, followed by Oklahoma State in the Big 12. His pro career spanned the globe over fifteen years and included multiple Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards.
“Antoine brings with him a great skillset and wide range of experiences that will only help our knowledge base,” commented General Manager Dominique Allen.
“We’re really happy to have him on board to support Matt and the team.”
Co-Owner Ben Pierson added, “Coach Broxsie’s strong track record in player development will have an immediate impact. We want our players to improve on and off the court not just for our benefit, but for their own careers. We also want to grow our impact in the community and academy levels – with Coach Otten, Coach Pitkin, and now Coach Broxsie, we have great pieces in place to do this.”

I have had so many friends speak about the great time I will have in Manchester and I am really looking forward to being engulfed in the city and all that it has to offer with its people and culture. This is going to be an amazing experience and year.”
Broxsie is a dual United States and Dominican Republic citizen who speaks fluent English, fluent Spanish, and conversational Chinese and Japanese. The club added that they are delighted to welcome their new coach to the city.
