Sale Sharks continued their assault on a Premiership playoff with an impressive 25-7 win over Saracens as they showed their strength on the pitch.
In a high stakes game, both sides realised the importance of the fixture – and came out strong. A head turner of a try that saw Arron Reed run the length of the field provided the standout moment of the game.

There was protest from their sideline though after they reacted to what they considered to be an incorrectly disallowed try from Raffi Quirke in the second period that meant the team missed out on a coveted bonus point.
But it worked both ways as Saracens went without a bonus point themselves – meaning the two sides are separated by four points, with Sale climbing to fourth ahead of the weekend’s rugby.
