In an exciting initiative set to kick off in early 2025, a £50,000 football tournament will take place nationwide – featuring 50 tournaments across 50 UK Universities, writes Louie Kennedy.
Hosted by Footsapp, each tournament will feature local students, giving them a chance to compete against their peers from all over the country.
Don’t worry if you’re not a student as there will also reportedly be limited spaces for non-University teams, so sign up as soon as you can if you and your friends are interested.
Anticipation is growing for what promises to be an exhilarating series of matches leading to a spectacular and dramatic finale.
Footsapp’s initiative is set to make a lasting impact on University football, promoting healthy competition and rivalry among students nationwide.

Wednesday 15th January 2025- University of Salford
Saturday 18th January 2025- University Academy 92
Sunday 19th January 2025- University of Manchester
Wednesday 22nd January 2025- Manchester Metropolitan University.
