A club is incentivising fans by offering free tickets to their women’s first-ever home game at the Brick Community Stadium.
The Latics Women will face the Blackburn Eagles for the first time on Sunday, September 8 and Wigan Athletic have called on fans to come out in force to support Emmerson Boyce’s side.
Free tickets have been offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Boyce’s side will be looking to register their first victory on home soil following two consecutive away fixtures at Haslingden Ladies and Euxton Girls in the first week of the 2024/25 Lancashire Women’s County League season.
“It is set to be a really memorable occasion at Wigan’s biggest sporting venue, and Emmerson and his team will really appreciate your backing as they look to achieve something special in the forthcoming campaign,” said a spokesman from the club.
“The league encounter is free for all to attend, but please note that tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.”
