It’s official: Women’s Rugby World Cup to come to town in 2025

Salford will be a host city for the Women’s Rugby World Cup next year.
With just one year to go, excitement is building as preparations get underway to welcome some of the best teams from around the world.

Residents will get their chance to see world-class rugby at Salford Community Stadium. “Whether you’re a rugby fan or just looking for a great day out, come and join us to experience the excitement and energy of the tournament,” said a spokesman on behalf of organisers.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday, 24 September, and will be available until 10am on Tuesday, 8 October.
The spokesman added: “Don’t miss out—book your tickets early and be part of this amazing event.”
