A Manchester sporting franchise declared the return of a club stalwart on their social media accounts.
“Manchester Storm are delighted to announce the return of Cameron Critchlow, for his fifth full EIHL campaign with the club,” said a spokesman from the club.
“The hugely experienced forward has made 198 EIHL league which have produced 140 points (52G 88) – whilst securing the reputation as one of the best defensive forwards within the league.
“Last campaign, Critchlow led from the front with an impressive 17 goals and 26 assists over 48 EIHL games.
“Cam made the move to the UK ahead of the 2019-20 season and was immediately given an Assistant Captain role at the organisation.
“Ahead of the 2022-23 season it was announced the Cam Critchlow would lead the team and become the Captain to which he was awarded the role once again prior to the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
“The two-way forward spent the summer representing Team GB in their latest World Championship campaign and the dual citizen now has 14 international caps to his name.”
