Despite having the advantage in ball possession, Droylsden narrowly lost at home against a good Wythenshawe Town by four goals to three earlier tonight (Tuesday, July 16).

A crowd of 380 packed into the Butchers Arms to see an entertaining display of football which resulted in a total of seven goals.
It was The Blood’s first defeat in their pre-season but the side will take many positives away from the performance.

A tight contest went down to the wire with Wythenshawe Town managing to pip the home side in the 88th minute when they scored the deciding goal.
The Trialist family was out in full force with no less than six of them starting on the pitch for the visitors.
With the ticket price being only £3 for adults and £2 for concessions, fans definitely got their money’s worth at the match.
