Bury FC is back in action for Northern Premier League West with went away trip to Bootle FC at Berry Street Garage Stadium on Saturday afternoon, November 8, writes Rizki Ramadhan Putra.

After winning 2-0 at home against Kidsgrove Athletic last weekend, The Shakers will be aiming to keep their momentum rolling into their busy November schedule. The manager, Dave McNabb, will be encouraging the team with resilience and consistency despite the squad being tested with injury.
The weekend victory saw Tyler James and Kai Evans as the heroes to find the net. The former has now been scoring in consecutive games since his return from a short spell at Padiham.

The skipper, Oscar Threlkeld, made his return from injury to lead the side, while Owen Barker and Regan Riley were both back in action with substitute appearances. Meanwhile, Owen Robinson and Callum Spooner continue their recovery, earning valuable minutes with the under-21 as they get closer to full fitness.

The Opponent – Bootle FC
Bootle FC, under the manager Alan Morgan, are now fifth season in the NPL West following promotion during the COVID-affected campaigns. Currently sitting in 12th in the table, they remain just four points off the play-off spots but suffered back-to-back defeats against Chasetown and Congleton Town.
The Merseyside outfit will be eager to bounce back in front of their home crowd, and there will be some familiar faces for Bury fans to recognise – former Shakers are Lewis Earl, Jack Lenehan, and Courtney Duffus, all feature in the Bootle FC squad.
